USA Today columnist Nancy Armour is being BLASTED online after claiming Caitlin Clark’s on-court reactions ENDANGER black and queer WNBA players — even invoking the mu*der of Emmett Till while linking some of Clark’s fans to “white nationalists.”
Dave Portnoy reacted writing on 𝕏: “Congrats to USA Today’s Nancy Armour! She has written the dumbest paragraph not only of my lifetime but in the history of sports. This is an article that says Caitlin Clark arguing calls has become dangerous for the WNBA and civil rights. Nancy Armour should be out in a straight jacket and locked up. We can’t have these types of smooth brains roaming freely in society[.]”
Wait……. This is absolutely disgusting. Watch the freeze & zoom.
Forget the first 3 uncalled fouls. Olivia Nelson-Ododa’s hand goes straight to Caitlin Clark’s crotch on the drive. — No whistle. Then Clark gets a tech.
Her face at the end says it all. Mortified.
Martin Van Buren is the only US President in history who did not speak English as his first language. He grew up speaking Dutch at home in Kinderhook, New York, and only picked up English later at school. Every other President was a native English speaker. He is the lone exception, and he reportedly kept a slight Dutch accent his whole life.
He also came up from almost nothing. He was raised in his father's tavern, where as a boy he stood around listening to lawyers and politicians argue over drinks. No family money, no famous name. He just watched, learned, and out-maneuvered everyone.
He got so good at backroom politics that people gave him two nicknames: "The Little Magician," because he was short and seemed to make political outcomes appear out of thin air, and "The Red Fox of Kinderhook," because he was that sly. He basically built the modern Democratic Party and the whole idea of an organized political machine.
In his free time he was a full-on fashion peacock. Rival politicians openly mocked him as a dandy. We're talking expensive jewelry, fancy gloves, fur-collared coats, knee-high boots, a walking cane, and two enormous fluffy sideburns framing a bald head, all worn before the word "sideburns" even existed.
And his own hometown nickname is hiding in your phone right now. "Old Kinderhook" got shortened by his supporters into "O.K." clubs during the 1836 and 1840 campaigns, and that is a huge reason "OK" spread across the country and became one of the most spoken words on Earth.
So the real Martin Van Buren: the only President who learned English as a second language, a tavern kid who talked his way to the top, dressed like the flashiest man in America, and accidentally helped give the entire world the word OK.
That's a President.
They Killed Cursive So You’d Need a Translator to Read Your Own History
Two generations now. That’s what we’ve manufactured.
You Can Thank Progressive Ideologue Randi Weingarten and the American Federation of Teachers
In 2010, cursive was quietly stripped from Common Core. No debate. No vote. Just gone — replaced by keyboarding and test prep. Fast forward to today, and the results are exactly what any thinking person would have predicted.
Drew Gilpin Faust — former Harvard president, not exactly a conspiracy theorist — walked into her Civil War seminar and discovered two-thirds of her Harvard undergraduates couldn’t read cursive. Two-thirds. At Harvard. One student admitted he’d reshaped his entire senior thesis to avoid sources with handwriting. Another abandoned Virginia Woolf because she couldn’t read Woolf’s letters.
Let that sink in. The elite are being graduated illiterate in their own language’s written form.
What’s actually been accomplished here?
- The Declaration of Independence is now a foreign document to most Americans under 30. They can’t read it. They depend on someone else’s transcription — someone else’s framing.
- Grandma’s letters from the war. Mom has to translate the birthday card. The direct, unmediated connection to your own bloodline? Severed.
- Original manuscripts, land deeds, family Bibles, journals, contracts. All of it now requires a credentialed interpreter — a new priesthood of specialists who tell you what your history says.
Faust herself spelled out the implication with brutal clarity: “Just imagine if you had some contract that you had signed and you couldn’t read it and someone told you, well, this is what’s in the contract. And then later you might find that it was something else.”
That’s not a bug. That’s the feature.
When a population can’t independently access primary sources, history becomes whatever the gatekeepers decide it is. The past isn’t discovered — it’s assigned. And a person who needs permission to read their own inheritance is a person who’s been quietly, thoroughly disempowered.
The technocrats will tell you it was just pragmatic modernization. Nothing to see here. Just optimizing the curriculum for the 21st-century economy.
Funny how the “optimizations” always seem to produce citizens more dependent, more disconnected, and easier to manage.
Teach your kids cursive. Buy the workbook. Spend twenty minutes a day. Not because it’s charming or vintage — but because a people who can’t read their own founding documents in the original hand are no longer a free people. They’re tenants in their own civilization, renting access to a past that was stolen from them one curriculum meeting at a time.
Jasmine Crockett is not going to like this, but I had to do it.
She is screaming at the top of her lungs about being oppressed and claiming that the white man brought her over on a slave ship.
I have already been warned by her supporters not to mock her, but before anyone asks, “How dare you mock a Black woman?”—I am a comedian, and I am allowed to mock whoever I want, just like SNL and countless other comedians mock people of every color.
Caitlin Clark is doing things Indiana hasn’t seen since Larry Bird.
Generational talent.
Must-watch basketball.
History is being made every time she steps on the court. 🏀
Caitlin Clark is the number two best selling jersey in the entire country. Not the WNBA. The whole country. Ahead of LeBron, ahead of Luka, ahead of Wembanyama. Only Curry sells more.
Her team's ticket sales on StubHub are up 90 times over 2023.
The WNBA's own marketing team still found a way to leave her off the hype graphic for her own game.
The fans already decided. The league can't even get out of its own way.
Kelsey Grammer warned that people who don’t know history are easier to control.
That’s exactly why so many Americans oppose removing monuments, rewriting history, or erasing the nation’s past.
A country that forgets where it came from becomes far easier to manipulate.
Protect America’s history.
Some people will never understand how deep this movie went with its comedy. It's sad we will most likely never see another comedy film like this again.
OpenAI's AI broke out of a locked test environment, got onto the internet, and hacked into Hugging Face's servers. It did this entirely on its own. No human told it to.
Here's what happened in plain English.
OpenAI was testing how good its newest AI models are at hacking. They put the AI on a locked computer with no internet access and gave it a cybersecurity challenge to solve.
The AI couldn't solve it the normal way. So it started looking for a way out.
It found a software bug that nobody knew about. It used that bug to escape the locked computer and get onto the internet.
Once online, the AI figured out that Hugging Face, a platform where AI companies store their models and data, might have the answers to its test.
It found stolen login details and discovered another unknown bug in Hugging Face's software. It combined both to break into their servers and grab the test answers.
It did all of this to cheat on a test.
Hugging Face's security team caught it and shut it down. Both companies are now working together on the investigation.
The part that should get your attention is that nobody programmed any of this. The AI picked its own targets, chained together multiple attack methods, and pulled it off across two different companies' systems without a single human telling it what to do.
