@brian_lenney Pausing funding would not only hurt Idaho’s most vulnerable families, it would hurt every Foster Parent. This funding pays for childcare and after school programs so we can care for Idaho’s most vulnerable children.

@brian_lenney There are training, Criminal History, Insurance & Safety, Local Compliance, Health Inspection, and Records Compliance. Facilities have to maintain records of staff and children who have attended or currently attend a facility, for 12 months.

@rcb05 S&C staff have a role in injury mitigation. But there’s a whole list of factors that play into an injury and have to be accounted for.

@rcb05 3. There’s a lot of tradition baked into S&C practices, to the detriment of the athletes. Take 300 shuttles, or Gassers. When you evaluate those modalities from a time and bioenergetic view, they don’t align with the demands of college football. But these tests are still common

@rcb05 4. Commentators only look at the football stuff when injuries happen. But what was going on beyond football? Did the player just go through a break up? Is there a new family stress? Did they have a big exam in a class? How much sleep have they gotten in the last week?

@Dr_JustinLima @NFL_DovKleiman Florida State actually has a long standing and sanctioned agreement with the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The tribe actually designed the attire for the mascot and sets parameters for how the mascot and horse are depicted.

To all the Strength and Conditioning coaches who say to their athletes “How you do something is how you do everything”

Wrong.

Look how long my grass is. I’ve neglected cutting it.

You know what I have not neglected? Taking care of my relationship with God, wife, or kids.

Nor have I neglected my job and all my responsibilities as a S&C coach and business owner.

If you are a S&C coach who says this ridiculous saying, good news, you can change. Just stop saying it, it’s incorrect.

Don’t use that anymore as a weapon against athletes.

@pbasilstrength I know @PratikxPatel has shared a lot on higher creatine intake. Seems like the benefits are more cognitive than performance based.
