@deatluv Straight up just talk to people, listen to interviews, get it straight from the horses mouth. The same way you learn to describe a tree. Shows, movies, books, will always present you a simulacra of human speech. The best way to get better is by listening to real people
@DanEnMalva@stolperson Unfortunately, a good book is good because of its prose, its themes, and really what the author is trying to say. LotR isn’t good because it has a deep, interconnected world, but because Tolkien wrote a powerful story with powerful themes. Worldbuilding is mostly unimportant
