@gkachel That was my home speeds last lockdown. Aussie Broadband had NBN called out repeatedly until they finally ran a new fibre segment to our HFC node. Took 4 months to get fixed.
@gkachel Curious to know how the government languages this tomorrow re Year 12 students. One thing is for sure - clarity is needed for their sake and their teachers
The importance of role modelling. Not just technology usage in this article, but also gender stereotyping, attitudes and language, values. What we do is so much more powerful than what we say. We must show our kids how in our own usage and behaviour. https://t.co/ZiqVPt1Puo
Brilliant article by @BrionyScott about adult community responsibility for sexual standards in our community. Kids learn by watching and is horrifying to see what actions are not held to account. https://t.co/0E987tvHmF
“There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must take it because conscience tells him it is right.” —Martin Luther King, Jr.

@PJjHeath Booked to go in the first month. Can't wait. Amazing attention to detail with the costumes - matches the clever complexities within the musical itself.
@rdudgeon@MsMelissaBrady@PJjHeath@jvoneinem@geelong71@KesterJLee No forewarning I'm aware of. Yet another disappointing decision with Sarah Mitchell at the helm. Will impact iSteam and Global Studies sadly, two courses that well equip and challenge our students.
@GladysB@smitchellmlc@GeoffLeeMP And here I thought primary and secondary school education was primarily about life skills underpinned by literacy, numeracy, problem solving, collaboration and effective communication skills. An authentic curriculum is the answer, not a narrow one. A poor bureaucratic decision.
@gkachel Couldn't agree more. My best experience up there though was when two F/A-18 Hornets from Williamtown flew past and broke left and right respectively from the south at low altitude. Thunderous!
