We've heard your feedback.

Here's the updated Lootbox structure:
• 2 Lootboxes max per account
• Each Lootbox now requires 8 Keys (down from 32)
• Lootbox points will receive % boost
• Points from Lootboxes have been reduced
• If you've already opened a Lootbox, your reward will automatically reflect the new table. No action needed.

If you opened more than 2 Lootboxes:
• Only 2 boxes worth of points will count
• Any SOMI spent on extra Keys (beyond 16) will be reimbursed.

The details are being refined and we’ll share more updates soon.

We have an initial plan for the loot box system. Just working out the details.

We have also discovered that the key whale did not exploit. Just accumulated the keys before any info about them.

Interested to hear folks opinions on what we should do.

Seen some questions around why the number is 32, so here is some context.

Odyssey was the task-based program where participants earned 8 keys through tasks.

32 keys are required to create and open 1 lootbox. So the Odyssey keys contribute toward that, but more keys are needed to reach a full lootbox.

The reason is simple. If 780,000 keys could turn into lootboxes too easily, the average value of each box would get diluted fast. Even at 8 keys per lootbox, the number of boxes created would still be too high compared to the reward pool.

32 was simply a stronger number. It keeps lootboxes more meaningful and makes unlocking one feel more worth it.

Key trading is also open, so keys can be bought and sold and a market can form around them.
