There’s one winner to this whole thing: Jesus. Keep preaching him. Even when it feels like no one is listening. Even when it feels like the world is coming unraveled and falling apart. Keep preaching Jesus.
Do what you are called to do.
Not everyone will understand
Not everyone will approve
Not everyone will applaud
Not everyone will affirm
Not everyone will celebrate
Not everyone will support
Not everyone will stay
Not everyone will encourage
Do what you are called to do.
Let’s not be those who settle for good atmospheres in our church services instead of the presence of God. There is no substitute for the presence of God in our lives and in our churches!
Young Pastors...
Be very careful that in your attempt to be authentic and real, you don’t give permission to your people to feel fine about their sin and call that “grace”
God PARDONS sin or He PUNISHES sin.
What he does not ever do is CONDONE SIN.
Grace empowers us to serve God fully. It is His empowering presence that gives us the ability to do what we otherwise couldn’t do in our own ability—cleanse ourselves from everything that makes body or soul unclean. #ExtraordinaryBook
