We have begun clearing the illegal shanties and market stalls built along the median of the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.
As we rebuild the Lagos-Badagry Expressway into a modern 10-lane highway, we cannot allow its median to become a market, a settlement or a site for illegal structures.
There is absolutely no reason for anyone to trade, build makeshift shops or live on the median of a major highway. It is unsafe, illegal and unacceptable.
We often compare Lagos with some of the world’s leading cities and ask why we cannot be like them. The truth is that those cities work because people respect public infrastructure and obey the rules. We cannot expect a world-class city while refusing to show the discipline needed to keep one. Dumping waste indiscriminately or building illegal structures along our highways will not move us forward.
If we want a cleaner, safer and more organised Lagos, discipline and personal responsibility must become part of our everyday culture. That is how we build a city we can all be proud of.

E-signed:
Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi,
Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation.
10th May, 2026.
On behalf of the Government and people of Lagos State, I express my sincere gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Federal Executive Council for the approval of Phase 1A of the Lagos Green Line Rail Project.
This project is a significant milestone for our state. The Green Line will span approximately 68 kilometres, linking Marina to the Lekki Free Trade Zone, with about 17 stations serving key locations including Victoria Island, Ajah, and the wider Lekki corridor. It will serve up to 500,000 passengers daily at inception with the capacity to increase to about one million over time.
With the ability to move up to 35,000 passengers per hour in each direction, the line will reduce travel time and relieve pressure on our road network.
This project reflects our commitment to improving mobility, supporting economic growth, and enhancing the quality of life for Lagosians. We value the continued support of the Federal Government and remain focused on delivering a system that meets the needs of our people.
TINUBU ABD THE 48 LAW OF POWER...
Which one came to mind with the most recent development from the pages of that famous book? Which one can you link to deliberate plans and visions of President Tinubu as a man who plans far ahead of his generation?
I think Law 29 in that book will fit in perfectly....
Law 29: “Plan All the Way to the End”
- 48 Laws of Power (Robert Greene)
“Make detailed plans with a clear ending. Think far ahead, take into account all possible developments, plan all the way to the end, and don’t be swayed by wishful thinking. Then pursue your plans and don’t be tempted from your path.”
If you check the Police Act and how things are playing out, then you will understand this thought I put down here...🤔🤔
My comment:
There are people in life that once you have contact with them, your upward progress is guaranteed. The story of President Tinubu if written in the book of wisdom between year 1999 and now will fit in perfectly into such character of people that pull you upward as they move and progress upward....
Tinubu planned all the way to the end of his game and God helped him to achieve it....
He didn't just plan his life, he ensured those around him or that crossed his path at any point are planned along his upward vision....
May we all encounter our destiny helper in REAL TIME🙏🙏
I have been feeling quite cold and alone. I was wondering what was going on. Then I looked around and realised I was top of the table, far from the rest and alone. It’s nice at the top. I’ve got an Arsenal perspective on the crowd. We cannot lose it from here.
It’s cold up here. But success can feel like that at times.
Cleaning of traffic officer's post @ end of Lateef Jakande road inward/outward Ogunnusi road, Ogba. Every small detail matters in promoting a #Cleaner environment.
Good one @Mikano_intlltd but
machine-assisted devices can make the cleaning alot better, easier and faster.

Education …of the Girl Child.
Last Friday, we officially launched Project S.H.E, a landmark initiative of our administration dedicated to empowering the Girl Child across Agboyi-Ketu LCDA.
This mentality, we need to change. A lot needs to be done from management on and off the pitch, the administration of our football - all age grades and to the League too.
Reminds me of AFCON. After we lose the semi-finals, we always win the third place game. We exercise our muscles after the deed has been done
3 AFCON wins, 5 AFCON final losses and 7 or so bronze medals tells a real story of not making the numbers when it matters most. It is as much a mentality issue as it is anything else you can think of.
VALUE AS AN INDISCRIMINATE CURRENCY
No matter your reservations - or even in the extreme case, your animosity - towards Saudi Arabia, the facts remain unshakable. You may detest their lack of democratic governance, frown at the questionable actions of some royals, or scoff at their choice of allies. For all I care, you may not even be a fan of Islam; you might even be an atheist, yet nations cannot wave Saudi aside. Why? Oil and Natural Gas. That is their value capital, and value has no religion, no tribe, no sentiment.
Here in Nigeria, the same applies. I don’t care your tribe, your religion, your political leanings, your social class, or your private convictions - you cannot ignore Dangote. No, you won’t! The man is practically everywhere. If he is not in your belly as food, he is in your car as gasoline, or in the walls of your house as cement. After oxygen and the President of the Republic, Dangote is arguably the next unavoidable necessity of our daily lives.
Yes, we may retreat into our Dangote-cemented homes and rant about him being a monopolist, an opportunist fattened by government favors. We may curse him out in frustration. Yet, after the rants, we still drive our Dangote-fueled cars, to cool off at bars with Dangote-sugared meals and drinks. That, my friends, is VALUE. And value cannot be boycotted.
What draws nations, investors, and individuals is never the fickle sentiment of love or hate. It is value.
Love or hate the USA, you can’t do without their technology, defense, and financial muscle.
Love or hate India, you can’t ignore their pharmaceutical strength.
Love or hate China, you can’t escape their manufacturing and electronic might.
Love or hate the UAE, you can’t deny their tourism magnetism.
Love or hate Germany, you can’t do without their automobiles and industrial machinery.
Love or hate the Yorubas, you can’t sideline our talent, commerce, culture, and industry.
Somebody shout it loud: VALUE!
So when you see any individual, tribe, or nation perpetually crying foul with the victim card - “Everybody hates us,” “Nobody loves us,” “We are marginalized,” “The world is unfair to us” - the first question they must ask is simple: What is our value capital?
Because here is the truth: Nobody ignores value. Nobody discriminates against value. Nobody hates value. Value is the one indiscriminate currency in the marketplace of nations and men. So nobody hates you - Maybe, you just lack real VALUE.
Use this piece as you may...
Good Morning Severally.
