@DougLovesMovies just finished the #dlmoscarchallenge with #theteacherslounge and #perfectdays both low stakes but very well done. Both leads helped elevated their films. Ultimately #TheZoneofInterest will win the #oscar great challenge and solid year for flicks

[Justin Doyle @jdtheking13]

@DougLovesMovies 37/54 #robotdreams about the friendship between a dog and a robot. Also about loss and trying to move on. No words were spoken but this was still a fun #animated flick. Closes out best animation for me. #dlmoscarchallenge

[Justin Doyle @jdtheking13]

@DougLovesMovies 36/53 #theabcsofbookbanning a #doc short about the books that are being banned in schools and most of them are of black and lgbtq+ varieties. Such a shame. They shaped us and now kids won’t be able to take in the same information. #dlmoscarchallenege

[Justin Doyle @jdtheking13]

@DougLovesMovies 35/53 #TheZoneOfInterest closes out picture and director for me. A quiet but powerful film. Beautiful cinematography and production design. Just a tough thing to sit through. But for sure worth it. #dlmoscarchallenge

[Justin Doyle @jdtheking13]

@DougLovesMovies 35/53 The Boy And The Heron from Ghibli. Beautiful animation and cool story about loss and trying to move on.
Cool characters carry this movie and it was great. #dlmoscarchallenge

[Justin Doyle @jdtheking13]

@DougLovesMovies 34/53 Island In Between #doc short about a guy reflecting on his time in Taiwan, China and US. Not sure why it’s so interesting that it’s nominated. But it was

[Justin Doyle @jdtheking13]

#dlmoscarchallenge 33/53 Bobi Wine The Peoples President #BobiWineThePeoplesPresident was a great doc. Unfortunately it seems this is how it is in other countries. Just sad. But they keep fighting. #freedom #uganda
