Teachers should not be expected to work over a break and be ready to go first thing in the morning with kids.

It's disappointing that schools like Primavera took advantage of federal relief dollars to pay their shareholders, especially when several Arizona schools are facing critical budget cuts.
People should not have to wait in line for food because they are starving.
Teachers should not have to beg for supplies because schools are underfunded.
And both of these things have been happening for so long that we are desensitized to them.

I have never seen so many of my colleagues on the edge of breaking down because they are trying to do everything they can for their students. Just like they always have. Love and grace to all the educators out there.
I shouldn't be tweeting while I'm at work, but I just have to say this. If you know a teacher, know that they are not okay right now. This is HARD. Help them anyway you can...listen, take them meals, take their own children for a break for them.
