The Milwaukee Brewers are so fun to watch as they build their roster.
They flip pending free agents (Freddy Peralta) before they crash out.
They rebuild value for veterans (Jake Bauers).
They're stacked with prospects that come out of nowhere (Cooper Pratt).
They unlock more out of their talent (Brice Turang).
They're a pitching factory (Logan Henderson).
I hope they win the World Series.
An all-time pitching performance by Jacob Misiorowski. He threw a one-hit Maddux and punched 15. The most in a >99-pitch shutout before was Tarik Skubal's 13. This is Miz finding out in real time what he can be. The velocity is mind-bending. All of it is.
The Brewers just earned their 40th victory in their 63rd game of the season.
That’s the fastest the team has gotten to 40 wins in franchise history.
Oh, and they’re coming off their best regular season in franchise history.
This organization just continues to roll.
The Brewers, with an emphatic sweep of the Cubs at Wrigley Field, by a combined score of 19-5, served a subtle reminder that the NL Central title goes through Milwaukee.
The Brewers, winners of 5 of the last 7 full-season NL Central titles, and 3 in a row, are still a beast.

Today was Donna Brothers' final time covering the Kentucky Derby for NBC. Before the race, Cherie DeVaux said "it is an honor that you get to do your last walkover with me."
Brothers told DeVaux, "I'm hoping you become the first female trainer to win the Kentucky Derby."
Being a D1 manager was one of the hardest jobs EVER.
Players had 6am workouts? I was there at 5am.
Players got back from a road game at 1am? I’m doing laundry until 2am.
Players at the gym at 4pm for home game? I’m setting up at 3pm.
AND I was taking 20 credit hours. 😩
Packers QB Jordan Love turns 27 years old today — the same age that Bart Starr, Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers all were when they won their first Super Bowl with Green Bay.
“Love Lambeau, it’s awesome, it’s one of those places, on the 8th day, the Good Lord made Lambeau—— if you love football, you love to go play there”
