+ good amount of dedicated bicycle and motorbike parking. I truly believe we can fully utilise the LRT service once we solve the last mile journey via dedicated bus lane, cycle lanes and dedicated walkways. ❤️
Today I attended an engagement with MBSJ and developers regarding Subang Jaya's transport oriented development design. I emphasised the need for:
1. Better walkways
2. Dedicated cycle and e-mobility lanes
3. Green pillars
4. Community centres

And please do density control for residential buildings, limiting the height of buildings. Not just user friendly pedestrian walkways but importantly wheelchair and blind ppl friendly PLEASE. Public transport- Inclusivity, Accessibility and Safety.
Never understood why do people like buying and setting off fireworks/fire crackers during festive season in Subang. It’s noise pollution at 12am-1am when some ppl are trying to sleep (aka me) to prepare for a long day tomorrow.
Idgi. If it’s literally this easy to tackle traffic congestion - by just building a better bus network - why won’t Malaysian politicians do it?
Cause it’s not sexy? Cause you can’t siphon as much money? Like what’s the ACTUAL argument against buses?
