Why Feminists Should Welcome the Repeal of the 19th Amendment
(a shameless plug for Dale Partridge's highly anticipated book on repealing the 19th, releasing this fall by Joel Webbon's NXR studios)
The purpose of this post is to put at ease all the feminists screeching about the growing movement to repeal the 19th amendment because as the renown reasoner, Dale Partridge puts it "The majority of women are not capable of responsible voting."
What has become apparent from the constant barrage of "Repeal the 19th" cries is that very few, if any, of the more reasonable sex crying for it have ever actually read the 19th amendment or considered what the legal and political ramifications of such a reversal would entail.
In actuality, the 19th amendment did not give women the right to vote as many, including feminists, falsely assume. All it does is prevent a government from denying any citizen the right to vote based on their sex. Since approximately zero local, state, or federal government voting regulations today contain language that would limit the voting privilege to just men, thus preventing women from voting based on sex, repealing the 19th would do nothing more than level the playing field as to which sex could be discriminated against.
My dear feminist sisters. What this means is such a reversal would in fact afford you the historic opportunity of denying men the right to vote. Yes, it would require a monumental grass roots effort involving individual local, state, and federal elections, but freshly fueled by universal feminine rage over a constitutional betrayal of that magnitude, I would place the odds highly in your favor.
So no more defensive shrieking ladies. Next time one of the hyper-patriarchy bros drops a "Repeal the 19th" bombshell in your comments, just smile and nod and say, "by all means, lets." 😉
