@Theholisticpsyc Yes, I am alone. knowing that there are others that feel this way, but are nowhere near me makes me feel more alone. No it’s not worth it especially if you have kids. I wish I could be blissfully ignorant again.
@Rocket_Worm Do you have children? I feel the same way, but I have three children and I am not at peace with any of this. I am so angry all the time and I don’t know what to do with it.
@The_Acumen Will never happen. We are the only country that sucks. Every leader of every country is more concerned about money than they are people. #humanityisalie
@LauraMiers I absolutely agree, except for with the last statement. We’ve never had it all. A small majority had it all, and they made sure everyone else had to fight tooth and nail for it.
@joeolivermd Why do we keep saying this? Why is it not their fault? Why are we only supposed to know what the media tells us when we have all the information at our fingertips? I hate to sound like a Republican but where is the personal responsibility?
@CovidDataReport Absolutely. I’ve always been skeptical of others, but now, my faith in humanity is completely gone. Most humans are completely and utterly selfish.
@BosPublicRadio when are we gonna learn? killing thousands of people to get rid of Hamas? How do you think that’s gonna bring about peace? It will just radicalized others to take up arms against Israel. Violence begets violence. #ceasefireInGazaNOW
@Stonekettle Everything. Which is what we always do. something happens, we talk about it & talk about it but never do anything to change it or fix it. Then something else shinier comes along, and we focus on that though, not with any real plan to fix it and the cycle continues.
Does anybody out there think this is bullshit? When something horrible happens people always say “you’re not alone” as if that should make you feel better. No, knowing others are suffering as well doesn’t make me feel better, it enrages me.

This is not simply about two groups fighting over land. It's not "good" vs. "evil". It's not one side is right and the other is wrong. It's a moral failure of the world's powers. It's colonialism and bigotry that has gone on for centuries. 🧵

Just because Jewish people experienced a genocide does not mean we have the right to a nation state
No amount of suffering grants the right to wipe out & colonize an indigenous population
The Jewish holocaust was a European crime - why do Palestinians have to pay the price?
I think people really need to internalize what it would be like if a major military force sent you an alert saying "You have 24 hours for you and your family to vacate your city, which we are going to level with bombs, because we think a terrorist lives in your neighborhood."
If one side can cut off internet, food, water, electricity, and still be seen as the victim does this not tell you anything about the power dynamic here?
