@EmmanuelAcho Watching this incident in isolation might lead one to believe the police acted disgustingly. But go on the YouTube channel Police Activity, watch a few dozen other incidents and you’ll start to understand why police respond exactly like this.

@balkwhisperer@tf110615 Legal, as the rule is enforced. But should it be? The bend down at the waist is, to me, clearly the “start of his motion to the plate” and clearly meant to deceive the runner. Should be enforced as a balk, IMO.

@Trenciarte Really was a good call. Equally impressive though is d’Arnaud’s bat skills. Moving the runner over the night before, finding the hole on this key hit. Guy can handle the stick. And Snit knows it.
