@youngadamc@JPaulNorton@derekwebb I’m saying that it’s a generally held position in American Christianity. But that’s not the point being made here. It’s that Christians generally believe they have found the “truth”. If that’s the case, shouldn’t they be encouraging others to ask questions as they seek for truth?
@JPaulNorton@derekwebb Are any questions off limits? My point is that Christians should not be afraid of questions of any kind. If we believe in the infallible truth of scripture, then we should encourage honest questioning of faith, belief, thought, feeling, etc., both in ourselves and in others.
