I fully grasp how the pressure consumes a player when the performances dip and the crowd is demanding more.

It gets to a point where every touch is scrutinised, and it feels like nothing he tries comes off.

I’ve watched that exact weight crush players with massive potential until they completely fade from the game.

The reality is, nobody understands the mental toll of a bad run of form quite like the lad going through it.
Development is not linear.
