@MrsRomano6 @NoContextHumans Agree except on the nothing part. Drowning is the leading cause of death for toddlers so all parents need to commit to teaching swimming at a young age. even ISR survival lessons (in the video) are better than nothing. There are much better ways though.

@NoContextHumans Nope. We taught both our infants how to swim the old fashioned way and both could kick their way to the edge and climb out by two. It doesn’t have to be this way, it just takes commitment by the parents. The above is better than doing nothing but it’s not ideal.
