This take doesn't sit right with me. Our entire financial system isn't just stock trading. The entire stock market isn't as volatile as only the top tech companies. Netflix stock still has plenty of value, just less than it did before. Stock price is speculative. What's the issue
My only Netflix stock take is that maybe it isn't actually smart to base our entire financial system on the belief that everything needs to grow constantly forever to have any value.
@whatisacorncob Stock trading is just gambling. Gambling is risk vs reward. More potential for growth = higher potential returns = higher demand for stock = higher stock prices. At some point the speculation will outpace the actual potential for growth and prices will fall, like with Netflix
