Bangalore house searching is crazy. A landlord asked for 40 lakh security and zero rent

He said that he's super rich & doesn't need rent, just someone qualified for his house

I told him Im from IIT & he was quite happy with my qualification & offered me the house

But I told him that I am someone who wants to provide the best value to his stakeholders

So I counter-offered him with 80 lakh worth of esops in my startup instead of the security deposit

I didn't hear back from him. Just got a message 'Esops for deposit? Shark Tank thoda kam dekha karo'

I replied '40 lakh for deposit? Ganja thoda kam phooka karo'
