Got a few emails from CA students demanding to postpone their exams that are coinciding with the elections.
The demand appears logical. Four lakh students, mostly your own voters, Shri @narendramodi, won't be able to vote because of exams.
Though voting dates and exam dates are not clashing, it is impossible to travel from the exam center city to the home city to vote and come back to appear for the exam the next day. For example May 5th and 9th are exams and May 7th is voting day. How will someone in exam city on 5th come back to home city on 7th to vote and go back again to exam city for 9th exam?
Moreover, elections do create logistics, transportation, and security issues since students will have to travel to different cities to give exams.
UPSC, NEET PG, MPSc, etc exams got postponed and will be held in June, same can be considered for CA too. Hope the government considers this.
I urge the authorities concerned to look into this matter and find a suitable solution to ensure that students can both exercise their right to vote and appear for their exams without any hindrance.
Thank you for your time and consideration
It is imp. for students to write their exams for their career & equally imp. for them to cast their vote as a responsible citizen of the country. In this situation, I would like to know who is responsible for the student who is unable to cast their vote due to clash with the exam
