#WATCH | Animal rights activist and brother of Akhilesh Yadav, Prateek Yadav, says, "I would like to request the Supreme Court that they should not give any inhumane judgement. Dogs are a part of society...This is cruel because dogs are social animals. They cannot live in confinement. It is not feasible for the Govt because such manpower and space for shelter homes are not possible. Instead of that, if we work on animal birth control, their population can be brought down in the next 10 days. That is what the Govt should do, work on animal birth control - not on confinement..."

Terminal- 2 of Indira Gandhi Airport New Delhi is temporarily closed.

There are approximately 50 dogs near terminal 2 arrivals road, Departure road and Parking areas.

Crew members and few animal lovers used to feed them but due to restrictions from Dial ( Airport) Estate management Head Neeraj Sharma.

Feeding of these animals stopped at the airport and dogs are dying due to hunger and no water in this peak summer. Dial Estate head has denied to keep water bowls and to feed dogs.

Two dogs have already collapsed and died because placing water bowls is not allowed at the airport.
