Well done, Arjun. ❤️
Proud of the way you’ve carried yourself through this season, always believing in your ability, staying patient, working hard quietly, and remaining positive despite having to wait for your opportunity till the very last match.
Cricket tests patience as much as skill, and you handled both beautifully today.
Keep your feet on the ground, and continue being in love with the game like you always have.
Love you always.👏
There is a Manish Pandey story I’ve shared with almost nobody.
In 2018, during India’s T20I series against West Indies, the team had a short mid-series break for Diwali. I happened to be on the same flight back - Lucknow to Bangalore - as Manish Pandey.
He was seated one row ahead of me, alone, headphones on, quiet through the journey. He hadn’t featured in the series at all till then. Beside him sat an elderly lady.
When the flight landed, we all got off and headed towards the baggage carousel. I walked past Manish at one point, wished him luck for the games ahead, and carried on.
A little later, I noticed the elderly lady looking worried. Her phone had switched off and she was trying to contact her daughter, who was waiting outside the airport to pick her up. She tapped Manish on the shoulder, unaware who he was. He immediately took off his headphones, listened carefully, and without a second thought handed over his own phone so she could make the call.
Once the call was done, Manish ensured she had collected her luggage and he walked out of the airport with her, parting ways only after seeing the lady spot her daughter.
I still remember standing there watching it unfold quietly from behind. It’s not some grand story. But this one always stayed with me.
Today feels like a good day to share it.
Just go through the quotes or replies, I bet you won’t find a single KKR fan choosing the red one. Everyone is going with the blue one.
I still don’t understand why non KKR fans are crying for us, saying we’ll miss Shreyas and all.
We KKR fans aren’t missing him. The only person we miss is Gautam Gambhir that’s it, that’s the tweet.
To see negative comments about Mayank Yadav today is horrifying. The kid nearly lost his career & livelihood at 21yrs. Just to see him play again is huge boost. The fact that he clocked 150kph again is a miracle. At 23yrs just pray for him that he stays fit. The control will come
KKR won bid for Shreyas Iyer when he was at his lowest. Kicked out from DC , suffering from prolonged injury which cost him his international place. Did PBKS even bid for him ?! Not even once. Jab Successful hua to Sarpanch Sarpanch karne lage. 2022 mein kaha the?! yeh log ?!
One day you get will what you deserve❤️Don't hold someone in your life, right one always stays forever ✨
(Adhu varaikum mooditu Career ah paarunga nanbargale ) 😌💯
Gautam Gambhir about the Instagram post of MS Dhoni:
"Good on him for coming to watch the final and asking me to smile. This smile is for him. Hopefully one day he can be in my position & I can write the same thing while he smiles from the dugout". [RevSportz]
