Want to get more involved locally? This is one of the simplest ways to do it.
Bonneville County is currently accepting filings for Republican Precinct Committeemen (PCOs). This is a neighborhood-level role that represents your precinct and helps organize voters locally.
Many precincts have no one running. In many cases, if someone from the neighborhood files, they're the only name on the ballot.
Filing takes just a few minutes online.
How to file:
1. Go to https://t.co/XPKbTtY049
2. Click "File for Office"
3. Select "Regular Filing"
4. Enter your information to verify your voter record
5. For District Type, choose "Precinct Committeeman"
6. The system will show your precinct number and guide you through the rest
Important dates
- Filing period: March 2 – March 13, 2026
- Filing deadline: Friday, March 13 at 5:00 PM
- Withdrawal deadline: March 20, 2026
If you file and later decide it isn't for you, you can withdraw before the withdrawal deadline. So there's very little downside to stepping forward.
Local communities are stronger when regular citizens stay involved. If you've ever thought about participating more in local civic life, this is a good place to start.
And if you decide to file, feel free to let me know. I'd be glad to support you.
New at the Chronicle: Money is flowing into Idaho Falls on the eve of the mayoral runoff election. Will the grassroots overcome the political machine?
https://t.co/vd4k8cctJO
This is why I'm running. On November 4th, I received the most votes in Idaho Falls' mayoral race, but didn't reach 50%, so we're headed to a runoff election on December 2nd. Since then, everything changed.
Outside interests are now spending massive money to manipulate local voters with lies.
Here's the complete story about the $63,000 "dark money" campaign trying to influence Idaho Falls voters. Dark money refers to political spending where the original donors are hidden or difficult to trace. It flows through multiple organizations to obscure who's really behind it.
This is my full response to the lies, the coordination, and the out-of-state influence flooding our mayor's race. Idaho Falls needs to hear this before December 2nd.

I need to address the lies immediately. Over $63,000 in outside PAC money from Boise, Atlanta, and Wyoming has flooded into our Idaho Falls mayor runoff race. More than double my entire campaign budget.

They're sending you trash mailers filled with lies, trying to manipulate your vote. People who don't live in our city, can't vote in this race, but think they can buy influence of Idaho Falls.
There's now a third mailer claiming I want to "eliminate impact fees." Complete garbage. The Eastern Idaho Home Builders Association had to put out their own statement defending themselves from these misleading attacks.
You voted for change on November 4th. On December 2nd, let's finish what we started.

The runoff election is Tuesday, December 2. Despite winning the most votes in the first round, Idaho Falls requires a runoff to choose our next mayor and set the direction of our city. Make your plan to vote, and bring someone who didn't vote the first time.

Crossed the finish line at Shelley's Spud Day 5K with my daughter Reagan—her very first 5K! She's been training hard, working toward her Physical Fitness Badge with American Heritage Girls (AHG). I didn't get a chance to train (and was fighting a cold), but there was no way I was missing this moment with her.
Nothing better than watching her reach her goal after all that hard work. Great to see our neighboring communities celebrating what makes Eastern Idaho special! 🥔🏃♀️🏃♂️
