Let there be no mistake in the future how I voted today.

I favor bipartisanship, support of our allies, tighter borders, rights of women to make the call with their bodies, and less bureaucratic red tape.

I also support paying my fair share of taxes. I recognize that the privileges of America enabled me to rise up from the middle class, and I believe it’s my duty to pay more so others can have the opportunity to also rise up. That is a form of real patriotism, and I despise MAGA for sullying the meaning of that word.

Make no mistake, with Trump/MAGA we would not actually get a presidency of policies. J6 was the preview - a second Trump campaign will be one of vengeance and vitriol over policy. He will continue to sow doubt, undermine our institutions and divide us.

That cannot happen. America is better than that, and we need to put this version of the GOP squarely in the past.

We are not going back.
