@DirtyTesLa As a fellow Tesla owner in the snowy region where you live I’m annoyed too. I still think FSD will work unsupervised with customer owned cars- but the big caveat will be owner or user having to clean of camera.
@SawyerMerritt V14 2.2.3 does this too but after the 2nd or 3rd fishtail in deep snowy slush it gives you “take over immediately” icon. It seems to do really well in fresh snow but once it starts melting and is still deep it struggles.
@DavidMoss Glad to see you in Ohio! Have you encountered railroad crossings where FSD nearly launches you over them (20mph+)? Our 14.2.2.3 has been better but there are a few it still goes way too fast over.
@SawyerMerritt@Tesla We did a drive with 14.1.7 in our ‘25 model 3 in a heavy snowstorm and had to disable it during the entire trip. Country roads, freeways with packed snow was way too much for it to handle. I activated FSD multiple times and it still follows to close for the conditions too.
@SawyerMerritt@Tesla This is great. I’m on the latest FSD 13.2.9 and for all the amazingness, it can’t do really bad railroad tracks (it comes in wayyyy to fast) and toll booths are still a no go. But I can see it’s so close..
