Got a problem? Follow the 6 Step Design Process! The backbone of the GFMS Technology & Engineering classes. What a great addition to the lab! Thanks to these three! @GFMS_info@CarmelSchoolsNY @Carmelschools
The three Tech Assistants at it again. They made room decorations using the laser cutter. Can’t wait for the 6 Step Design Process Gears to get mounted to the wall. Amazing job by Lyndsey, Alissa and Emma! @Carmelschools @GFMS_info

Here is Nicole & Kayleigh’s automated parade float. Nice work integrating the three mechanisms to make their theme come to life. @Carmelschools @GFMS_info@MrLeonardTECHED
Everett, Mikey & Chris did an amazing job #collaborating to develop this awesome tank. It even shoots Ping Pong balls! Great work by them. @Carmelschools @GFMS_info
@McGuireTechEd Those are awesome! Can you @McGuireTechEd share how it is assembled and the material you used? I am just starting to do something like this with our laser cutter with my classes.
Here is Max & Dillon’s Mini Golf parade float! Using a gear train connected to bevel gears to rotate the windmill! Impressive complex mechanism. Take a look at the rotating golfer and sign. Nice Job! @GFMS_info @Carmelschools #6cs#criticalthinking#creativity#collaboration
Check out this amazing parade float by Matt, Owen and CJ. The Mt. MOC ski resort. Inside the mountain are a light sensor that activates the snowmobile. A switch that triggers the cam & follower and finally a potentiometer that controls the skiers on the slopes! @Carmelschools
Amazing work being done by these 8th graders! #Grit and #Determination on display everyday. These groups are coming in extra time to work in their projects. Their motivation is through the roof! @GFMS_info @Carmelschools Can’t wait to see how they will finish up in a few weeks.
The 3rd Qtr. Parade Float projects coming together nicely. Owen, CJ and Max integrating a switch, potentiometer and a light sensor to start three different mechanism. Can’t wait to see how they integrate this into their design theme. @Carmelschools @GFMS_info@MrLeonardTECHED
