A hot dog stand in Chicago. I reached for the ketchup.

The man behind the counter said one word. "No."

I froze. I understood. I had nearly broken a sacred law.

His name was Sal. He held a mustard bottle in each hand and had the calm of a man who has turned away kings. He told me the dog already had mustard, relish, onion, tomato, a pickle, peppers, and celery salt. He told me it was "dragged through the garden." He told me ketchup would never touch it.

I bowed. I had been shown the code.

I asked Sal who decreed this law. He shrugged. "That's just how it is here." A law so old its author is forgotten. The strongest kind.

Then a man two stools down asked for ketchup for his child. Sal allowed it. "Eight and under," he said.

So the law holds one mercy. Below eight winters, a child is innocent. At eight, he becomes responsible for his own honor. I found this more beautiful than anything in my own country.

I have not put ketchup on anything since.

Not on eggs. Not on rice. A vow does not check what is on the plate.

I flew home. At a stand in my own city, a boy reached for the red bottle. I caught his wrist. "You are over eight," I said. He did not know what I meant. His mother was upset. I tried to explain the garden. I tried to explain Sal.

I am now asked not to return to that stand.

I have appointed myself guardian of a law from a city I visited once, for a single afternoon.

So tell me, America.

Who forbade the red sauce on the sausage, and in what year?

And if no one remembers, who am I now serving?

🇬🇧 Rupert Lowe says he's done waiting on the system to deliver justice for the grooming gang victims.

The MP plans to use parliamentary privilege to name perpetrators and their enablers in the chamber, working with his legal team so no future prosecutions get jeopardized.

He says his faith in the system to independently deliver justice "is not high," which is why he's pursuing private prosecutions and civil litigation.

A target list has been identified and it's still growing.

What he wants is simple: "Put people in prison. Deliver justice. Finally."

For once, a politician is promising consequences instead of another review.

- Girls were gang-raped by dozens of men at a time in “party houses.”
- Girls were whipped, hung upside down, suffocated, and urinated on.
- Girls as young as 5 or 6 were tied up and abused.
- Girls were locked in dog cages.
- Girls were branded with an “M” for Muhammad.
- Girls were threatened with being killed and fed to pigs.
- Girls were mocked for wearing a crucifix during the rapes.

All of this was carried out by predominantly South Asian, Pakistani men, with smaller numbers from Somali, Iranian, Syrian, Turkish, Bangladeshi, and Iraqi men.

And yet perpetrators were let off, authorities turned a blind eye, and it continues to this day because people are scared of being called racist.

Anyone who covered for this needs to face the death penalty alongside all of those who hurt these girls.

I'm glad Rupert Lowe and everyone else behind this put this together; it needs to be seen by everyone.

A secret society of the world’s elites co-founded by spyware billionaire Peter Thiel has been exposed by hacktivists.

Dialog is a private, invitation-only network, co-founded in 2006 by Palantir chairman Thiel and data entrepreneur Auren Hoffman.

The organisation holds off-the-record summits for powerful figures from the worlds of politics, finance, military, celebrity and tech.

Frequently compared to the Bilderberg Group and World Economic Forum, Dialog has spent two decades refusing to disclose the identity of its members and has a private website.

However, a directory in the website’s code was revealed by Swiss hacktivist maia arson crimew, who previously leaked the US government’s no-fly list and hacked surveillance-camera company Verkada, WIRED reported.

The directory included “participant profiles” for those planning to attend the group’s summits, featuring contact information, facts about themselves - and even if they were “looking for love” at Dialog events.

Profiles included Texas senator Ted Cruz, US treasury secretary Scott Bessent, chief economist at Israel’s finance ministry of Shmuel Abramzon, and a number of Google and Google DeepMind execs.

Other names from the world of entertainment include Hollywood actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Josh Brolin, podcast host and author Sam Harris, and tech entrepreneur and longevity obsessive Bryan Johnson, Straight Arrow News reported.

In many cases it isn’t known if those named are full members, conference participants or merely guests of the organisation.

WIRED reported that a separate source revealed details of an upcoming Dialog retreat at a venue outside Dublin, Ireland.

The retreat, due to be held 12-16 August this year, is set to host NATO’s top US commander Alexus Grynkewich, as well as multiple officials from the Trump administration, two US senators, a former Middle East chief of intelligence, and a sitting ambassador to the United States.

Also present will be six members of the so-called “Paypal Mafia”, and a number of those running the US’s most prominent surveillance and data firms.

The conference is set to feature sessions titled “Navigating WWIII”, “Battlefield Technologies”, “Money (Does?) Buy Happiness”, “Bring Back Nuclear” and “Build-a-Cult”, the latter of which will be moderated by the founder of the Christian networking site https://t.co/nbjzqZ95gS.
