@Jacob_Rees_Mogg Any country seeing Brexit will stay within the EU; huge trading block and geopolitical strength in unity to the annoyance to other powers. Problems - sure; but manageable and suspect benefits outweighs negatives. Bigger question is will the US be as influential in a generation

@supertanskiii Tough match for sure; clean sheet for Mexico, home advantage and the altitude has to be considered. We struggled against the low block adopted by the weaker teams but maybe in a more open game and we able play more to our strengths we may just nudge it. Going be a tough game!

@DiroShare @MrJohnJnr Yes and no; tariff needs to be refunded but doesn’t go to the country the export originated as they didn’t pay the tariff. The tariff returns are to those holding the record of import - I.e the importer - typically the company

@T0N3N3 @SecWar In US 1/4 people are missing meals to pay bills and 36% couldn’t afford an emergency $400 cost. GBR is increasing military spend (as it should) but it needs be affordable. Should be noted; 50% increase in US spending has not been approved; would be surprised given the 40 T debt

@ZeroSympathy76 @StateDept It’s priced globally; 20% shortage impacts on US prices. More crucially; 1/3 world fertiliser comes via strait = huge supply hit on US farms. The petrodollar and cost of living impact is why 1/4 Americans missing meals to pay bills and 37% couldn’t afford $400 emergency bill

@KemiBadenoch Isreal/US and Iran war should teach us that fossil fuel dependency is a weakness in our energy strategy. Only 10% of NS oil left and experts will tell you billions required is not cost effective and won’t impact oil prices. Renewables cheaper but fix the marginal pricing system!

@patrickbetdavid Spin aside, this was a huge strategic mistake by the US. Militarily been shown to be outdated, loss of lives, Billions in costs, destruction of 15 bases, stockpiles depleted, 650B-1T economic impact, allie reputational loss. For what? Some uranium and dropping Iran sanctions?
