@ryan_landreth I'd much rather employee Q as long or past the point of employing JJ. Letting JJ fire Q and hire a new manager is by far the worst case scenario. It also might be the most likely. All up to Sherman.
@Ryon_Reyne@jtpenfield Tend to agree. Mike Zunino was a starting catcher for a decade and he never hit .230. Half the catchers in the league can't hit a lick. A .320 OBP and 20-25 jacks and good D will play for a long time.
@toburenh24@SleeperRoyals The very top DSL prospect (which he's on track to be) has an outstanding recent track record. Made (#1 overall) and Hernandez (top 30 already) are the last two. There are so many future pros in that league. There's literally 1000+ players in that league, many big bonuses.
@aduvall013 With a decent closing kick he can set our team rookie record in XBH. As a catcher. Passing the likes of BWJ, Beltran and Kevin Seitzer. He's going to be a good one.
@aduvall013 And how can they guarantee a breakthrough in a 7 game series vs a 500 mil dollar payroll? They do the important part, give yourself a really good chance year after year.
@gabealejos@royalsminors We need to love Angeibel Gomez more than you can imagine to make up for the titanic trash heaps of Matias, Elier Hernandez and Erick Pena.
@ShowMeBoy6 That defense was sensational and outside of Jones, it was almost entirely mid and late round picks and modest FA signings. They gave up 10 points to the Ravens, 19 in reg to SF and 7 to the #1 offense Dolphins.
@NotARightFieldr The payroll is close to the league median. It's above Milwaukee who is leading the league in wins and way above Tampa and Cleveland who are far better with much better farms.
@Drizzy_Dru29 It better be Mitchell and/or Ramirez then. If this guy deprives us of Chourio, Gomez or Hammond to try to save his ass in 2027 we should all be irate.
@Q64138@Drizzy_Dru29 After the 34-19 start the rest of that team was fairly middling as well. It's a .500 group, with health, under a best case scenario. I'm tired of our top decision makers not seeing what needs to be seen.
