@Jim_Hunter_MGP Crash was with me, Ray Pickrel and Percy Tait. Rays gearbox bust open and Percy and me went down on his oil. I was the only one not injured. Gave my wife Pauline a shock as I had to rush her home to give birth to David.
@DaveHailwood1 So very sorry to hear of the passing of your Mum Pauline. She was a lovely lady. I so much enjoyed the chats we had when staying at the Mount Murray. My sincere condolences David.
@leeweston77 Sure did! Had the use of an old Merc E200 which was kept in the IoM, fitted with hand controls. Took Colin and Doogie for a lap which got pretty exciting over the one way mountain. Passed a lot of Superbikes. Climax was the 3 lefts before Windy, flat out passing about 10 bikes
Just started this tweeting thing and trying to find my way round it. Thanks to all for their kind remarks about DJ. When talking about the TT with Rob Mac once we both agreed it was bloody dangerous but a good lap was bloody good fun !! Can’t think of anything to beat it. TJ
@69penfold Yeah, remember the bike. Used it for a bit if supermoto but don’t think he had for all that long. Just one season I think. Good looking bit of kit!
@robmcelnea1 Rob. Your looking well! Well I suppose you are bound to living the life in southern Spain. Just watched your short video for the first time and wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for your kind tribute to Dave. All the best TJ
