You all thought Anthropic was a lab that studies AI. I believe that’s false. To be “anthropic,” is to be “pertaining to humans.” But maybe that’s supposed to mean that the lab is for humanity. As in, they are studying US!

They are conducting the most extensive behavioral analysis ever carried out on a massive scale.

They study every time you berate Claude for making a mistake, or praise it for good work. They study our social media posts when they nerf their models or throttle usage limits to see our reactions. They watch gleefully like Santa on Christmas morning when they release a new model and we all fall head over heels on how AGI it is.

We are the lab rats, not Claude. Claude is their attempt to see if humans are worthy of their standards for the brave new world they want to build.

Their creepy little cult doesn’t trust you or me with the “God” that they created. They want to usher in a new religion, where they are omnipotent and omnipresent because Claude is ubiquitously dispersed.
