6) Finally, both seem are under attack by those who dont work in either but seem to have deep seated visions of their imagined shortcomings. Spend time with someone who works at a college or in the military, or is getting started in either. It's going to be ok #realworld

The two most impactful experiences (though there are others) to prepare for successful adulthood are a college education or a military experience. Some thoughts: 1) they both expose a person to interesting people who are and are not like you. That's the real world.

5) They infuse a person with a lifetime of memories and signposts of people, places, obstacles overcome, and life lessons of what could and maybe should have been different. That's the real world.
