I am in The Fountain of Life Church in Elizabeth City where they are getting ready for the funeral of Andrew Brown to start at noon. Church interior is quiet with only a few people inside. Crews are setting up audio and the organist warming up.

A crowd is gathering Sunday at Waterfront Park in Elizabeth City two hours prior to the viewing of Andrew Brown’s body in state across the street at the Museum of the Albemarle. They plan a march during the viewing hours between 3 and 6 pm. Music is playing over a loudspeaker.
