Loving the addition of our new wall art in our primary conference room!! @psuextension adopted this mission statement earlier this year and it’s being used to lead the organization. Having it visible is a great ongoing reminder of what we are working toward!
Welcoming new members of the @psuextension team is always great! This pic is from a morning session with new faculty and staff. (We had a separate one with new faculty in the afternoon.) Great energy, questions, and passion. Excited to see the impacts that these individuals make.
I loved watching #TedLasso (2X!). Entertaining, engaging, and inspiring stuff! This was one of my favorite quotes from the series. “Be curious. Not judgmental.”
It reminds me to do better and has had as much impact on me as most of what I picked up in leadership training.
I'm super excited to launch the search for an Associate Director of Programs with @psuextension! Please help me spread the word and, if it fits you, feel free to get in touch with me. I'd love to discuss it with you!

Great start to the #CentreCounty Grange Fair today!!! The JoDee Messina show was great and my first ever photography entries got a 1st and 2nd in their categories. Ending the day with a sticky bun from Mr. Sticky’s was perfection!!
Hoping everyone at #AAEA2024 gets all of the benefits that come with professional conferences and the added benefits that come from conferences in #NewOrleans, one of my very favorite cities!
Great day with @agsciences leadership, including incoming dean, @TroyOttAg, telling the story of ag research, teaching, and @psuextension as we advocated for state funding. Good things going on and even more ahead! Exciting times at Penn State!!!
I was happy to visit Pittsburgh today to celebrate some outstanding work by our Educators and partners! A new field at a local high school will aid health and safety and provide workforce development opportunities for students. It’s why we do what we do!!

Thankful to get to welcome new @psuextension colleagues to the organization this morning!! Followed that by welcoming members of the Natl Extension Technology Community to State College for their annual conference.
We are looking for someone to serve as Head of our Ecosystems Science and Management Department at @agsciences! Please help us find someone great. https://t.co/mwwTEAzTTm
If you would’ve told me weeks ago that I’d play @taylorswift13 nonstop in the car since downloading this, I’d have LOLed, but this is really good stuff!
Penn State has 6 seats on the Board of Trustees representing ag. Today, several of us from @agsciences attended the election of Don Cairns and Chris Hoffman. Speakers included President Bendapudi, interim dean Kulcsar, Secretary Redding, and Tara Mondock. Great day!
Great first day as Director of @psuextension! Enjoyed the Ag Council (College’s industry advisory body) meeting, including an update from @CongressmanGT on the Farm Bill. Wonderful way to return to PSU!!
That’s a wrap on my time at Texas A&M. I’ve learned a lot and made what I hope are some lasting connections. I’m anxious to get going with @agsciences and @psuextension next week!
To my Texas friends, gig ‘em and God Bless. It’s been a joy and an honor.
One thing that excites me about re-joining @agsciences and @psuextension is that they actively stay ahead of the curve, translating research into real-world impact.
Current focus areas of research & extension are shown here.

I have been fairly inactive on social media for several months. That's about to change!
As I return to @agsciences & @psuextension, I will try to shine a light on the work done there and the people who do it. I'm proud to be joining the team again!
