@eyesonbee This would explain why the Dialogue of the FF7 Remakes and FF15 was written for children.

It's also probably why they're mid games and not actually good.

You know when I played the old FF's when I was younger, they made me feel the way they did because they were good games.

@TBYSTweet The romance in the OG's is a lot more subtle and in the background. Even the date in the Gold Saucer is pretty tame and can give some story lore depending on who you go with(like Aeris recognizing Cloud is pretending to be something he's not).

In Remakes its just teen ship slop.

It's also been on sale a lot recently across multiple platforms. I got it for 20$ like a month ago on steam.

SE been doing everything they can to get FF7R copies out the door so they can increase the sales #'s.

They wanted to switch to an action combat system but were afraid of the OG fans being unhappy so they added the ATB and "classic" system to the game.

Mash attack until ATB full, do damage, repeat. Slow&clunky.

The worst crime of FF7 Remake and Rebirth is the combat.

It's slow and boring af. It's not nearly as fun as something like Elden Ring or even FF16 and yet every boss fight in this game is a marathon. Even on easy the fights take way too long.

Every where you go in the Ubisoft open world slop that is FF7 Rebirth this POS calls me up and starts face timing me with an AI animation loop. The one Combat zone I did MAI was just talking the whole time I was fighting. Obnoxious AF.

I started FF7 Rebirth a couple of days ago and holy shit is it terrible. It's genuinely worse than Remake. Everyone kept telling me it was better.

How tf Tifa going to tell Aerith Cloud wasn't in Nibleheim and then immediately ask Cloud why he wasn't there for her afterwards?

@Invinium I tried it like 2 months after release and my main issues were the new map. It was rare you'd ever make it to the bosses and then when you did you'd usually wipe instantly, or I'd spend 10 minutes trying to revive people then inevitably go down myself. It wasn't a good time.

@nafeasonto 3. Conflating his reason for calling Tidus Tide-us instead of Tee-dus with his reasoning for calling Aerith Aeris is just lying about him to try and make him look bad.

@nafeasonto 2. Spelling it Aerith or Aeris doesn't change the fact that in Remake she's a completely different character. He probably calls her Aeris because to him, Aeris from the original and Aerith from the Remake are literally different characters. The change in name is symbolic of this.
