Gut rebuilt by adding fiber and fermented food. Diet tip? Add don't subtract. Almost 6 yrs, still 80lb down. Colon cancer brought me- results made me stay.
@LoriShemek You opened the skies on this Monday morning Lori bringing up fermented foods!!
Easily the most impactful addition to my post-colon cancer diet- along with a substantial increase in prebiotics-(fiber) to feed the good bacteria from probiotics.
Shemek Nation- this is fire!
@BioLayne Testify to this..."...LESS body fat, BETTER insulin sensitivity, & better overall metabolic health (PMID: 29643151, 26996228, & 31139631)"
As a husky T2D- I ran from berries and fruit
Post CRC- 70lbs lighter and I crush berries and fruit for fiber
A1C 5.9
Right on Layne.
@poojagarg1111 βItβs like listening to whispers instead of waiting for a shout,β said Dr. He. βWeβre looking for small signs of cancer long before it becomes dangerous.β
Thanks for sharing this Doc.
I was in the "shout" crowd for CRC, but this could be a godsend for future cancer detection.
@DrKristieLeong@MineralDoc I use one of these, gets spices out of the cabinet or drawer and on the countertop.
Out of sight out of mind is much of the problem.
Easy as salt and pepper...
@bryan_ginter @DrKristieLeong $8.49 for a 3-pounder at Costco.
Routinely see them for $5-$6 lb in grocery stores.
The savings from my 3TBSP daily chia seed habit pays for my annual membership.
