Dear Laura,
Seeing as the President has your attention and considering the massive success of your Zelensky meeting, please consider having a conversation with the Shah of Iran. It would be a groundbreaking and important moment.
I'm sure you have plenty of ways to reach out to his team, but I can also help with this if you need it.

The U.S. State Department announces that the U.S. has just placed sanctions on Secretary General of the Muslim Brotherhood’s General Secretariat.
The London-based Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood leader figure Mahmoud al-Abyari was sanctioned for funding Hamas.
He has aided Hamas fundraising through groups like Filistin Vakfi.
The new sanctions also target Indonesia-based Tujah Bulah Global, created by Hamas to raise revenue for its military wing, and the Gaza-based Madad Palestine Charitable Society, a Hamas front that collected funds supposedly for civilians but diverted them to military purposes.
Turkey-based El-Kahira for General Trading was also sanctioned for transferring hundreds of thousands of dollars for Hamas via underground banking in both fiat and cryptocurrencies.
The Muslim Brotherhood relies on sham charities and front organizations in multi-layered transnational networks, drawing help from state supporters such as Turkey and Qatar to finance Hamas terrorism and obstruct peace in Gaza.
While the world’s attention is on the war in the Middle East, we can’t lose sight of Iran’s repression against its own people.
Today, the EU imposed new restrictive measures on Iranian judges responsible for serious human rights violations, including the persecution of political dissidents and religious minorities. We also sanctioned a leading figure of a cyber group who enabled the regime’s repression of information.
As Tehran intensifies its domestic crackdown, the EU will continue to hold those responsible to account.
My committee combed through millions of COVID documents, and what did we find?
Anthony Fauci destroyed records. He told others to delete emails. And then he told them to delete them from deleted files.
He and his allies privately doubted the "implausible" line on a lab leak while publicly attacking anyone who raised it.
And he never took responsibility for funding dangerous research in China.
Next week, Dr. Fauci goes under oath in front of my committee, and he’s going to answer for everything we’ve found.

🚨 GREECE MOVES TOWARD MASSIVE ISRAELI AIR DEFENSE DEAL
Greece is expected to approve a €3 billion package of Israeli-made air and missile defense systems for its new “Achilles’ Shield” network.
The system would integrate Barak MX, David’s Sling, and SPYDER with Greece’s F-35s, F-16 Vipers, Belharra frigates, and Patriot batteries—creating a unified defense network against aircraft, ballistic missiles, drones, and cruise missiles.
One of Greece’s largest military modernization projects in decades—and another major vote of confidence in Israeli defense technology.
LIFETIME ACHIEVMENT AWARD FOR SUKITA
“Photograph king, watches you go…”
Great to hear that Masayoshi Sukita is to receive the much-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award at Abbey Road Music Photography Awards in September.
Regular visitors to these pages will be well aware of his work, which was created via several sessions with Bowie over a 37-year period starting in 1972.
The great man had this to say about the award...

“It is a big honour for me to receive the Lifetime Achievement award at the Abbey Road Music Photography Awards," added Sukita. "I am very pleased to be a part of the history of photography. I will keep working on photography, and hope people will continue to enjoy my work.”

In the superb Genesis Publications book, Speed Of Life, by Bowie and Sukita, Bowie said this about his favourite Japanese photographer...

“It’s very hard for me to accept that Sukita-san has been snapping away at me since 1972 but that really is the case. I suspect that it’s because whenever he’s asked me to do a session I conjure up in my mind’s eye the sweet, creative and big-hearted man who has always made these potentially tedious affairs so relaxed and painless. May he click into eternity.”
