Mississippi is so ready to elect a true conservative leader as our next Governor in 2027. With Andy Gipson, one thing’s for sure - you’ll be electing a straight shooter. Enjoy the final day of your Mississippi #2A tax free weekend!
Before he died, Billy Graham was returning to Charlotte after a speaking engagement and when his plane arrived there was a limousine waiting to transport him to his home. As he prepared to get into the limo, he stopped and spoke to the driver .
"You know," he said, "I am 87 years old and I have never driven a limousine. Would you mind if I drove it for a while?"The driver said, "No problem. Be my guest!"
Billy gets into the driver's seat and they head off down the highway. A short distance away sat a rookie State Trooper operating his first speed trap. The long black limo went by him doing 70 in a 55 mph zone. The trooper pulled out and easily caught the limo and he got out of his patrol car to begin the procedure.
The young trooper walked up to the driver's door and when the glass was rolled down, he was surprised to see who was driving.
He immediately excused himself and went back to his car and called his supervisor.
He told the supervisor, "I know we are supposed to enforce the law, but I also know that important people are given certain courtesies. I need to know what I should do because I have stopped a very important person."
The supervisor asked, "Is it the governor?" The young trooper said, "No, he's more important than that." The supervisor said, "Oh, so it's the president." The young trooper said, "No, he's even more important than that."
The supervisor finally asked, "Well then, who is it?"The young trooper said...
"I think it's Jesus, because he's got Billy Graham for a chauffeur!"
Last week I stopped by Mississippi Senior Care Pharmacy in Tupelo for a great visit. What an amazing operation, locally-owned and operated. Every day I hear more about the urgent need for PBM Reform in Mississippi, and it’s time to get it done before we lose all our local pharmacies. Thanks to Jamie Gunnells and team for your hospitality.
This evening I’ll be back in north Mississippi enjoying a catfish supper at Kent’s Catfish in Saltillo just north of Tupelo, and everyone is invited to join me, 5:30 to 6:30! I’ll have lots of signs for you on the Saltillo stop of my #greatmississippifishhousetour.
“What’s in a name?” Well, the Bible says a good name is better than great riches. My name is Gipson with a “p,” but you can just call me Andy. Remember that one name for Conservative Common Sense leadership, next August 3rd! Thank you so much for your overwhelming support. #GipsonforGovernor
Here’s why I do, what I do! We’ve got a next generation of young Mississippians to fight for. And I’ll never stop fighting to expand your freedom, to uphold our Christian family values, to bring excellence to education for every child. And by the way, I’ll never stop defending our land from dangerous threats, foreign or domestic.
You can pick up signs just like this whenever you visit Berry's Seafood & Catfish House- Florence, MS or Berry's Seafood & Catfish House- Magee, MS when you eat there this week.
Thanks Erica McNeil of Raleigh for submitting this precious photo!
This morning while my coffee was brewing, I captured this slow-motion, double-feeder hummingbird video on our side porch. Hummingbirds are amazing little creatures designed with precision by Almighty God, the Creator of all. That same God designed and created you for a very good purpose. Show your kids and remind them: God loves you and He has a good plan for you, too. God bless you today! Andy Gipson
I fought successfully to restore Constitutional Carry in Mississippi, and today I’ve asked for an AG opinion to guarantee firearm freedom from federal suppressor registration in Mississippi. You can read my opinion request in the comments below. Still standing for your God-given #2A rights!
The Freedom250 Chevy IndyCar engine is a 2.2-liter, twin-turbocharged V-6, 735 horsepower strong. We’ve been blessed by God with such an amazing Nation! As we continue celebrating 250 years of American Freedom, I ask you: what other country can hold a Freedom250 Grand Prix IndyCar race in our Capital City??
Answer: Only in America! 🇺🇸
By the way, I almost jumped in and fired this baby up. God bless America and God bless President Donald J. Trump!🇺🇸
I was reading Genesis today and I noticed something I don’t think I’ve noticed before.
Prior to the famous destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah for their sins (Genesis 19) God actually rescued those same people, using Abraham to save them and their wives and children in the battle of the kings (Genesis 14).
What are we to make of this?
Perhaps it shows a pattern of God revealing himself to people and being gracious even up until it finally is time to judge. Do not take his kindness or grace as permission to sin or some kind of promise that judgment won’t come.
Indeed, about 150 years after Jonah’s preaching led Ninevah to repentance we had Nahum show up and tell that same city that destruction was now coming.
After the golden days of Solomon the kingdom split under his son’s foolishness.
Get your life right with God.
Chilling development. Today, the FBI and U.S. Department of Justice announced their arrest of a 35 year old Albany, New York woman, a five-years ago convert to radical Islam, who swore allegiance to the Islamic State, praised Allah for 9-11 and then subsequently attempted to execute an elaborate plan to blow up the New York State Capitol in coordination with terrorists. Official FBI/DOJ photos are attached.
If you still refuse to accept that radical Islam is a major issue in America, and in Mississippi, I challenge you to read the FBI report and the related DOJ Complaint in the link below. The threat is already on our shores.
It may put a target on my back, but I will ban Sharia law and the influence of radical Islam on Day One as your next Governor.

Here’s how we make sure every child in Mississippi has access to a first-class education. My Governor’s School of Excellence Education Plan begins with recruiting and compensating the very best teachers in Mississippi, and broadcasting their advanced placement classes (especially STEM classes) into every classroom in this State with modern technology, such as Zoom or Teams. Local classroom teachers will supervise the students in the Governor’s School of Excellence, and those students who successfully complete the program will earn a scholarship to a Mississippi college or university, with their commitment to remain in Mississippi at least 10 years after graduation. We will also protect our children from online dangers and A.I. risks. Let’s make every school a School of Excellence!
“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction,” said the man who defeated communism and ended the cold war. Ronald Reagan had the moral clarity to understand the threat of communism when he saw it. He saw the threat and he led the American People to defeat communism.
Today, you and I are called to fight and defend our country from threats as well. But rather than on foreign shores, today we find these foreign threats have taken root on our own soil: Radical Islam, the Chinese Communist Party, and Democrat Socialism; a triangular threat seemingly aligned in one common cause - to destroy America from within.
Let me be clear: We will never allow these forces of tyranny to win. We will never allow them to control our children and grandchildren.
We will defeat the forces of evil and we will preserve our American Freedom for the next generation. We will defend our State and our Country. I am asking you to stand with me.
Can I count on you?
Standing for Freedom 🇺🇸

Truly appreciate the opportunity to visit with White House and USDA policy leaders on the issues most important to Mississippi Agriculture, Forestry and Seafood. Thank you @Bruce_LeVell for hosting our delegation!
Upperclassmen
It's your team.
Your job is to be a leader.
Help the younger guys.
Your role is not to be the cool guy that makes the underclassmen miserable.
Represent yourself, your parents, your coaches, and your program the right way.
Show the underclassmen they can trust you.
Your team will either overachieve or underachieve because of your ability or inability to lead.
Immature selfish upperclassmen destroy teams and programs.
I was honored to lead a great delegation representing our farmers, ranchers, forest landowners, shrimpers and fishermen to your Washington D.C. today. With in-depth policy discussions at the USDA and White House offices, we made sure your voice was heard at the highest federal levels with key decision makers. I appreciate four of Mississippi’s legislators joining us today.
We’ll be following up with a written briefing to the White House on several major issues including curbing the dumping of foreign imported catfish, shrimp and other foods, blocking EUDR’s application in America, expanding our agricultural workforce, coordinating more uniform disaster relief and recovery and standing up more local food and value-added processing to make farming profitable again.
We appreciate President Trump’s and Secretary Rollins’ focus on putting our Farmers First! Thank you to my friend Bruce LeVell for making this happen for Mississippi.
In the face of growing terrorism around the world and in some parts of America, Mississippians want real conservative leadership to defend our American values, not weak-kneed talking points. When I’m Governor, Mississippi will join 10 other states and pass a law to expressly defund terror networks and ban Sharia law, similar to the one Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just signed into law this April. Read Florida’s bold law here: https://t.co/qmLaptKNQS
It takes strong conservative leadership to understand the lessons of history and protect the freedoms we hold dear. As Americans we cannot remain silent on this issue. I’ll keep standing firm.
I want to personally thank you for standing with me! You can support my campaign for Governor right here: https://t.co/bl3AzEatVZ
Very honored to be leading the first-of-its-kind Mississippi agriculture and seafood delegation to Washington, D.C. for a series of roundtable policy discussions with decision makers in the Trump Administration. I’ll be issuing more information next week.
