CSCD celebrated Veterans Day in a parking lot next to the court house where 6 veterans graduated from Harris County's Misdemeanor Veterans Treatment Court! The event/parade with Judge Erica Hughes was held outside because of Covid and it turned out to be great. #CSCDcares

Today we had 4 STAR DRUG COURT graduates, 2 early terminations, cars filled w/family & friends & LOTS of tears. It was hot, one client was 45 min late, a parking lot attendant tried to chase us out, but the smiles on the clients faces were worth it all!" #restoringhope #CSCDcares

We didn't let the pandemic stop us from having our STAR DRUG COURT graduation. By the time this week is over, 14 graduates and 11 clients who early terminated from probation, will have received their certificates!

STAR Drug Court had its' first Virtual Graduation! Led by the STAR Court Staff and Judge Kelli Johnson, the graduating clients participated in a “STAR Car Parade.” They drove their vehicles through a gauntlet of cheering STAR Court Team members and received their certificates!
