@GuntherEagleman The Mother: The boy's mother convicted of felony child neglect and weapons charges, got a prison sentence of nearly four years.
The Assistant Principal: Ebony Parker faced felony child neglect charges for ignoring warnings on the day of the shooting.
Teacher got $10 million
I guess this is part of the 'everything is upside down' simulation. If it's your second house, by definition you use fewer NYC services than full-time residents. So of course you pay higher taxes.
"New York City’s pied-à-terre property tax surcharge on secondary homes..."
@Sadie_NC This is known as a bailment for mutual benefit. Under those conditions, the bailee (garage) owes the bailor ordinary care. Unless the garage had a reasonable belief that a hail storm was coming, they had no obligation to put the car indoors.
I can't think of a better recruitment tool than the rescue of the downed Colonel weapons officer. Between that and raising the enlistment ceiling to 42 yoa the libs can shut up about a draft.
My Facebook page with 39,000 followers has just been permanently suspended for quoting Ilhan Omar, violating their "violence and incitement" policy.
Ilhan Omar can call ICE agents "terrorists" and "murderers," but if I report on it, I get suspended. Astounding.
Can a car be considered a weapon?
Per Perplexity, "In the United States, there are roughly 41,000–43,000 traffic deaths per year in recent data, and worldwide there are about 1.19–1.2 million road traffic deaths per year"
Perplexity has a good summary of how to frame the MN ICE shooting:
The Court unanimously rejected the “moment-of-threat” rule. It was objectively reasonable considering all relevant facts and events leading up to the shooting or other use of force.
