@cricketingview OK so bowlers are ranked exclusively on wickets per test now? Gotcha.
Your original point was that Moeen was a far better bowler than Stokes and there could be no argument. I think that is outlandish hyperbole!
@cricketingview I mean...Stokes has 2 wickets per test and Moeen has 3...with a lower SR. Whatever way you cut it Stokes was a better all-rounder than Moeen - and I think Stokes was very overrated!
@darrenrichman Nobody apart from; the leader of the opposition, the leader of the highest polling party, multiple national newspapers? If your original comment was based on "people you follow on Twitter", fine, but I think powerful forces clearly support hate speech against Muslims.
@darrenrichman Fine. But do you somehow believe that Muslims (or any other group) are somehow a privileged group in comparison to Jewish people when it comes to hate speech? This happened just a few weeks ago: https://t.co/kgkWPbRpu7
@darrenrichman Do you genuinely believe that? Here's one example from the top of my head of someone who was let into the country without a peep. There are countless more: https://t.co/QXrVkRqHy6
@ohlookitswill_ So it's just an interesting thought exercise shorn of the context it's said in? As you were then. FWIW for my mind 13/14 is actually worse. Watson, Bailey, Siddle, pre-God mode Smith, Lyon, post God-mode Clarke, Carey>Haddin.
@ohlookitswill_ @JoshuaB05750397 But then your implication is that England should have beaten them, rather than understand that an Australian team worse than previous ones is still quite comfortably better than the best that England can put forward.
@benjonescricket Fair enough. Don't think that's a comment on his indivdual effectiveness overall as such, as his average has come down, but I see your point.
@HealthUntoDeath I suppose it's because they view housing as an investment rather than a consumption good, therefore prices going up is good, and the purpose of central banks is to protect capital rather than ensure anyone has a nice life.
