@sarobertson_ She has to realize that times change, right? The economic realities of today are very different. She limits who can comment on her posts - but she mentioned even Harper had a better policy. He was prime minister 11 years ago. Times have changed. Mature leaders adjust to the time.
@cullenoncurling@playbyplay21 Safe to say, the Scottish program he built was/continues to be very successful - in Scotland. Outside of the top few teams in Canada, there hasn’t been tons of results. Surely complexities like residency rules and just the sheer size of our country doesn’t help. Wishing Brad well
@hoppecurls Sounds like a great opportunity for him. Also seems like he spent all season saying the reason he was retiring was because he wanted to spend more time with family. Seems like this time commitment would be similar. Would have more respect if he announced like Edin did. 🤷
@sarobertsonca It’s impossible to deny her skill and savvy as a politician. I’m one of the vast majority of Albertans who support Canada - we are never leaving. But Danielle is right, you have to listen to everyone.

Former CPC leader Erin O’Toole told Global News that Pierre Poilievre and the Conservatives need to moderate their policy positions if they want to beat the LPC

@KristinRaworth@erinotoole Pierre helped orchestrate is ouster. What comes to mind for me is the lyric from the Pussycat Dolls song, When I Grow Up.
“Be careful what you wish for cause you just might get it.”
I’m a Conservative… but I’m begging us to get serious. I’m begging on my knees for someone else to write his speeches.
We can disagree with Mark Carney all day long on policy. Fair game.
Necessary, even.
But saying the guy has an “illusion of knowledge” is like saying Connor McDavid has an illusion of being able to skate.
We don’t win by pretending competence is fake.
We win by proving we can do better.
