@EPHulsey Not saying this justifies it, but the only way artists make money is by touring and merch. It’s the only way to cover the expenses of making & promoting music. Christian radio is locked down, labels aren’t making money, streaming doesn’t pay. Touring & merch is all they’ve got.

@PastorCroft Can confirm. The only thing that got me out of burnout was playing in a band again. Rounded up some believing friends, started jamming and writing songs. Eventually played gigs. Really helps a bunch of middle aged dads connect and do something purely for the joy of it.

@JesusSaves1500 Travel shows and documentaries, some sports, building and homestead, etc. Our public channel has great shows highlighting things to do and places to visit in our state and that’s been fun to watch together. We’ve gone to some of those places and plan to visit more.
