@expomick Avs have depth and that is when Bednar is at his best. He had a team with a lot of depth in 2016 with the then Lake Erie Monsters. That team lost two games that entire Calder Cup run. That team went 15-2 in that playoffs

@expomick Bednar was established as an ECHL and AHL coach when the Avs hired him. When he won a Calder Cup in 2016, it was obvious he wasn’t staying in the minors for long and was hired two months after that win
