Loved The Godfather on the original Xbox. I bought the Prima Guide years ago at a thrift shop but just recently picked up the 360 sequel at Game Essentials in Superior. This is as close as I can get designing my character to look like Silvio Dante. Time to take over some rackets.
@nolongergone I eventually got this game many years after it was released, but have fond memories of playing it primarily at the Atari 2600 kiosk in K-mart.
@8BitShowAndTell Beautiful area, happy 50th! My first time up there was the weekend of July 10, 1982. Here are a few shots I took of family while at Fort William. When we got back to International Falls that Sunday, the Rex Hotel in my hometown was in flames.
1996: Brother Bob at my PC and HP LaserJet 4P. My 80s printers (Okimate 10 thermal & Epson dot matrix) were replaced by the 4P. Newer printers come & go, but the 4P is bulletproof. Considering what it cost in 1994, I'm happy to say I still use it to this day. #ThrowbackThursday
@AntonioCartella Yeah, I hear you. My roof rake is hanging in the garage rafters...hurts my back just looking up at it. In previous years, this would just slide off the screen porch on its own without causing any damage. These gutters are trashed.
Our daughter's new kitten Enzo dropped by today. He and Twylla got into a bit of trouble atop the Empawer State Building skyscratcher. However, mankind's weapons were no match for nature's fury. #KingEnzo 🦍#Twyzilla🦖
One week of vacation remaining and I'm playing my oldest and newest computer games today. At College for Kids, the first PC I used was an Apple II in 1981. After a BASIC intro, our instructor let us play Sabotage. It's as challenging as I recall!
@ArcadeRen Cool! I bought this game awhile ago but was unable to run it without upgrading memory. It just sat in my Steam library until I finally splurged on RAM. Playing it for the first time today. It's going to be a long night! 😁
Christmas 1986: Me and my first printer - the Okimate 10 for the Commodore 64 - from my wonderful mom who always supported my computer interests. It was a banner printin' year at the old Skogstad family. #PrintShop#SmokeUpJohnny#ThrowbackThursday https://t.co/Mu4RVv54OU
Christmas 1982: I'm not present, but here's nephews Jamie, Bob, & Mike w/ their new Atari 2600. Second pic is bro-in-law Gary & friend of the kids. I was fortunate to have received mine on Xmas '79, but as I can't find my pics I must document the joy of family. #TimeTravelTuesday
