Sad news from the college basketball world. McDaniel head coach Kevin Curley passed away last night after a courageous battle with cancer. The coaching veteran was the all-time winningest coach in McDaniel history and by all accounts a great person. Thoughts are with his family and team during this unimaginably tough time.

Good luck to three of our Reese's All-Stars (Bruce Thornton, Peter Suder, and Izaiyah Nelson) who will be participating in the Combine! In addition, six other players from this year's game will be part of the G League Elite Camp!

The NBA announced today that 73 players have been invited to the AWS NBA Draft Combine 2026, which will take place May 10-17 at Wintrust Arena and the Marriott Marquis in Chicago.

Additionally, a select number of standout players from the AWS NBA G League Draft Combine 2026, which will take place May 8-10 at Wintrust Arena, will be invited to participate in the NBA Draft Combine following that event.

Tennessee Tech is hiring former Iona head coach Tobin Anderson, source told @TheFieldOf68.

Anderson is best-known for coaching FDU to the upset as a 16 seed over No. 1 Purdue in the 2023 NCAA tourney.

He is on staff this season as a special assistant to Bryan Hodgson at South Florida.
