@LandonB32 Dang. Do you also claim the Section 42 credit to offset a fair bit of this? I filed my 1120S a few days ago and think I need to amend it now... but as the sole employee, I received the "expense" as W-2 income, so I won't be hit too hard, as long as I can claim the R&D credit.
@getajobmike Yeah thereβs that and you can also tunnel into a running dyno with ps:exec, however cannot install packages and redis-Clo is not installed π
@getajobmike My bad, that's from my local machine. I don't think it's possible to get redis-cli installed on a heroku dyno. Can you run a cli command from redis-rb?
@getajobmike I'm on RedisLabs w/ a basic cloud fixed plan. min: 94, max: 267, avg: 104.03 (522 samples). I feel like I need to upgrade to a dedicated instance, but can't use Elasticache on Heroku. IMO Sidekiq users could really benefit from a wiki comparing providers/plans/throughput.
@nateberkopec Thoughts on DataDog APM? I like Scout for finding quick wins (n+1, etc) but use DD for everything else (logging, metrics, monitors) trying out their APM this week. Heroku w/ DD is not perfect though.
@getajobmike I looked it up, p-m has 1 cpu + 1 hyperthread, p-l have 4 cpu's + 4 hyper threads. So for a p-l dyno should it be 4 or 8 processes? Do 2x dynos benefit from swarm? https://t.co/lHKm6X2q7C
