@KTBrushett @jen_keesmaat Early communication stated that first years were pretty much guaranteed residency. Many people I know applied on that fact and then as things went on they kept changing the message. "We feel confident...." to "it's a lottery..."
There was a very big lack of communication.
@torontomike @budweiserstage This city is terrible at finding a place to park your bike where you can expect to see it again when you return. It's my largest anxiety as to why I don't bike to more meetings and/or events in Toronto.
@WallStreetSilv Oh look, an entire street built in 1920 in Toronto of similar size homes with no garages. People seem to have managed this housing crisis.
@brianlilley@tvo@David_Moscrop Something tells me that if this deal was done under a Liberal government with their friends profiting $8 billion dollars and the AG having issues with it @brianlilley wouldn't be so quick to defend. 🧐
Hey @TTChelps , my kid actively avoids the subway because his phone doesn’t work when he’s on it even though its the best way home. I used my Bell phone in Barcelona subways easier than I can in Toronto. Fix that. 😐
New digital menu boards at a local Subway seem to have used screens that are only visible with polarized lenses in portrait mode. Bonus points for the taped on printed poster on the last screen. 😎
Every time myocarditis is trending I know my feed will be nothing but high school dropouts with a 4th grade reading comprehension pretending to be virologist and immunologist.
@PasternakTO All over the world there are places that allow for a beer in a public park. @PasternakTO can you specifically tell Toronto residents whey they are not responsible or mature enough to handle it in your opinion? What makes us 'doomed' when others are just fine?
@PasternakTO Doomed policy? Sounds strangely familiar to the same claims when they allowed beer and wine in grocery stores and legalized cannabis. Wasn't the sky supposed to fall then?
