Ukraine launches TrophyLab: we are opening access to captured Russian weapon technologies for our global partners. Every missile, drone, and vehicle seized on the battlefield is now a source of knowledge for the free world.
Through this secure platform, allied governments, labs, and defense tech manufacturers gain access to deep technical data, reports, and vulnerabilities. Users can also request physical equipment for testing, significantly shortening the development cycle for countermeasures.
What was meant to be the enemy's secret advantage is being dismantled to defend democracy. Join the platform:

Sharing brief thoughts on Trump’s Taiwan gambit. I argue Trump’s approach, if acted on, would be a shift from deterrence to dealmaking in a domain where there is no deal to be made, beyond offering unilateral concessions that undermine US credibility.

Must-read preview of the Trump-Xi summit by Matt Pottinger and @Liza_D_Tobin. Three things to watch out for:
1. An investment package for CATL battery production.
2. A deal relaxing U.S. controls on high-end chips.
3. A “peace gesture” on Taiwan.

NEW: Iran launched two ballistic missiles targeting the US-UK base at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean on March 21, marking the furthest ever attempted Iranian missile strike. The attack demonstrated that Iranian missiles can reach beyond the 2,000-kilometer limit that the regime has long claimed to have self-imposed. One missile failed inflight, and the United States intercepted the other.
Other Key Takeaways:
The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has reportedly expanded its influence over regime decision-making amid a growing power vacuum caused by leadership losses and Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei’s apparent inability to exercise full authority. Some of the officials who have likely expanded their influence are among the most aggressive and repressive elements within the IRGC.
The United States Treasury Department issued a short-term waiver on March 20, permitting the sale of Iranian oil already in transit. The waiver does not allow for new purchases of oil.
The combined force continued to degrade Iran’s missile production capabilities. The IDF struck at least five missile production sites in Tehran.
1/ There are intensifying pressures on the cross-Strait status quo and debates in Washington about how US should respond. To interrogate options for adapting American policy, Jude Blanchette and I convened a diverse group of US experts on Taiwan. (🧵).

"The US faces the challenge of strengthening deterrence in ways that promote stability without increasing the risk of miscalculation or confrontation. America’s role is not to determine Taiwan’s future, but to prevent the PRC from using force or coercion to impose its will. Further, America must ensure that any resolution of cross-Strait differences is achieved peacefully and with the consent of Taiwan’s people." https://t.co/502XqKKXe5

I recommend this video explainer by Col. Reisinger on Russian hybrid warfare vs Europe. It shows all key details pointing to a holistic & persistent approach by Russia to erode and, if possible, destroy the European security order. Europeans may not want war but war wants them.
