The deal didn’t stall because of poor pitching.

It stalled because proper diagnosis risks discovering the deal was never real.

Founders don’t avoid disqualifying deals due to lack of skill.

They avoid it because carrying a “maybe” feels safer than facing that truth early.

Reviewed a sales call this week from a web3 founder I’m consulting for.

The deal stalled because one question never got explored deeply enough:

“What actually happens if this doesn’t get fixed in the next few months?”

If the pain sharpens when you dig, there’s urgency.
If it stays vague, it’s not a priority.

I’d rather disqualify early than carry fake deals in the pipeline.
